Extraterrestrial Chitons, 2003

When The Terrestrial Crustacean Crusade was being painted, the question of
whether chitons were to be included was mentioned. They were not, as they are
not terrestrial. But from this, the idea for space chitons was formed.

Mopalia cirrata, a type of chiton.
